Some habits start small. In 1954, a handful of students gathered under the shade of a tree in Pomburpa to learn their letters. Today, over 185 students walk these same grounds each morning, their voices rising in the school anthem as the sun comes over the Bardez hills. For more than seven decades, St. Elizabeth's has been the school where village children become doctors, where shy kids find their voice on the elocution stage, and where a 15:1 student-teacher ratio means no child learns alone.
